us at WORD as we celebrate our first newsletter online. For
many of us, this is the first time that we are publishing our
work in the print media and on the Web. For some of us it is
our first time even being part of a group of writers. We invite
you to write about "your first time" experiences. It can be
your first poem, first job, first apartment, or the first time
you called yourself a writer. How about the first time you crossed
the street, your first success, your first failure, or your
first kiss. The sky is the limit! Write about your first love,
crush, heartache, loss, or a desire that you experienced. This
is the first time I've ever directed a group of writers in search
of this thing we call WORD! As we celebrate our first, we invite
you to share your experiences. If your story is good and you
give us permission to have it we may feature it on our site.
